Delivery
1. Delivery Timeline?
For in-stock orders placed by 12pm Kampala Time, we usually deliver the same business day. For orders placed after this time, your order will deliver the next business day. We deliver every day Monday through Friday, except national holidays. Our goal is to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Please open and inspect your order upon receipt. Should there be any issue with your order, contact customer service within 48 hours.
2. Where do you deliver from?
All orders ship from your nearest Cheap General Hardware store. Ground delivery times to your location are provided on our Delivery Information Page.
3. What methods of delivery do you offer?
We deliver using your choice of Express or Standard. Fees for each option are quoted when you check out, or you can estimate the charges by choosing the “estimate shipping” link on the cart page.
4. How far do deliver?
We deliver withing Kampala and all neighboring districts and beyond. Unfortunately we do not deliver outside Uganda at this time.
5. What is the cost of shipping?
Delivery rates are based on the weight & volume of your order and on the destination area code. A quotation for delivery is provided when you choose Checkout from the Cart page.
Returns & Exchanges
1. Our return policy?
We accept returns within 48hrs of the item’s delivery to you. Items being returned must be in new, unused condition, and in the original, undamaged packaging. We cannot take back used products or products/packaging that are not restockable. We do not charge any restocking fee for orders returned with 48hrs, however we are not able to refund shipping costs.
2. How to make a return?
To make a return, click on the My Account link at the top of the page. Find the order you would like to return in your list of orders and click on it. The order detail page will provide instructions for returning your item.
Once the items arrive in our store, your account will be credited with instore credit that you can used for a new purchase. It’s that easy!
3. What about damaged or lost during delivery, or are wrong?
In the unfortunate case of items damaged or lost during delivery, or the wrong items sent, we will arrange to have the items picked up and new replacements sent at no cost to you. To report damaged, lost, or wrong items, just click on the My Account link at the top of the page. Find the order that was damaged and click on it. Choose the Trouble with My Order link.
IMPORTANT: Delivery damage, lost, or wrong items must be reported within 48 days of the scheduled date of delivery.
